We have a new emblem in Scouting Ireland. At the National Council on the weekend the above emblem was agreed.

I think that in the long run a good choice was made. Given the criteria that it needed to be timeless and represent us as Irish, it was the one I thought would get chosen. I'll be interested to see what the colour scheme that they choose (ie for badges etc..) will be.
Welcome to St. Marys scout group at Maynooth. Maynooth is a small University town located 15 miles west of Dublin in Ireland. The Scout group consistes of 4 sections, Beavers (6 to 8 years old), Cub scouts also known as Macaoimh (8 to 11 years old), Scouts (11 to 15 years old) and Ventures (15 to 20 years old).
